Football @ WBC
WBC has a long and happy history of being involved in mens & boys football.
Currently we have an Under 16s team playing in the local Football League of Churches otherwise known as FLOC. The league takes place on Saturday mornings at Prince Avenue School.

In a nutshell FLOC is a church based league established in 2004 to give boys and girls the opportunity to enjoy playing in a football league on Saturday mornings rather than wandering away from church to play in the Sunday morning leagues. It aims to gather Christians who love football and Jesus and to provide a bridging place with the community. They have an ethos to be competitive but inclusive too welcoming all levels of players to develop their skills and potential, to welcome all as Jesus did. All teams are directly linked to local churches and they hope that friendships made at FLOC will promote fellowship between churches across the area.
Currently a solid 2nd in the league, the team have the following fixtures coming up (weather permitting!!)...

17th March 10.30am v St Michael Angels
